Are holidays really relaxing? Everyone I know right now is studying, cramming for exams soon to come. The city library is crammed with students finding a refuge that supplies free WiFi and power. I long ago realised that holidays weren’t actually for relaxation… They were just a break from going to class, which allowed studying like no tomorrow.

Since its my last year of uni, I feel as though I should be working like a dog… But since its my last year of uni… I want to enjoy it. So screw it allll, I’m going to keep indulging in my chocolate bunnies and enjoy the free time I have with my loved ones, its rare that I have a day where I’m not thinking about uni, even rarer to see my partner prance around in a onesie. So I’m reclaiming holiday’s for what they are…Rest, calm, relaxation and lovely times. Everyone have a lovely mid semester holiday with lots of love and game of thrones.

“That is, there are not two distinct genders, but instead there are linear gradations of variables associated with sex, such as masculinity or intimacy, all of which are continuous.”

If men and women were psychologically distinct from one another, then their scores on psychological measures should form large clusters at either end of a spectrum with little overlap between the two groups.

This is the case for physical characteristics …

Yet the same could not be said for the myriad of psychological characteristics examined by the two researchers,

Hope everyone had fun last night!!!!! Now for serious biz-ness

For students participating in Pride March Victoria in the afternoon today 3.2.2013:

*March assembly location: the park near the corner of Lakeside Drive and Fitzroy St, St Kilda. The National Union of Students (NUS) Queer Department will have a sign.

*March assembly time: meeting at 1.30pm with the march starting at 2pm sharp.

* Picnic location: the Catani Gardens near the beach at the end of Fitzroy St, St Kilda.

The RUSU Queer Department is hosting its first event for the year, kicking it off with a Beach Themed Party!

So come on down to the Queer Lounge in your tots-cool beach-themed attire… or your regular clothes.

Past, present and future RMIT queer and queer-friendly students are all invited to attend, and meet two of 2013’s new Queer Officers, Michael and Hasnain.

Drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and nibbles provided!

So midsumma has finally come upon us! One of our friendly queer officers shall be in at the lounge at 1pm to await Tdance that starts at 5pm! Don’t miss out, the Dj babe that is Ruby rose shall be playing!

As boredom slowly makes it way into our systems and threatens to take over…. the official PRIDE MARCH opening and MIDSUMMA comes into to save the day!

This friday is the offical pride march launch (this is not the actual march, this happens in feburary, but it’s still a full of fun queers event!) People from the Queer lounge are meeting up at 5pm in the lounge! SO if you want to join, you can! One of our lovely queer officers will be there. (http://www.pridemarch.com.au/ )

Of course Saturday will be your resting day, as the opening day for Midsumma rolls around on Sunday! There three main events; first one is a picnic, second is a dance party and the last….a late night dance party for those that just love shimmin’ and shaking. ( http://www.midsumma.org.au/ )

I always wonder why people associate female guitarists as a stereotype with lesbians.

first of all, any lesbian knows that your dominant hand’s fingernails must be trimmed short!

However, any guitarist would know that it’s best to have you fingernails quite long on that hand, especially for classical guitarists.
